This month's wallpaper in five popular screen resolutions has been archived. It says, "Love one another"

shell wallpaperPhotography by iStockphoto.com and Photoshop work by Jessica Alvarez. I designed the directive "love one another" coming down like rain to emphasize the feeling that this command is all pervasive. Everywhere you look, even in the sky, feel that phrase and remember we are to love all people with neighborly, brotherly love. Also, do you get the feeling that LOVE is feeding the flowers, and the flowers are blooming for Love?

MEDITATION

There have been more and more studies on the effects of meditation on your brain and your health in the news during the past decade. I started meditation when I was about nineteen or twenty, and that was several decades ago. I have learned several methods of traditional meditation, including focusing on one object like a candle flame, mindful meditation where you acknowledge thoughts and drop them, meditation with chanting, and meditation with mantra.

When I was introduced to meditation with Holosync in 2004, I was blown away by how quickly I could go into a deep meditative state. Meditating with Holosync is like teaching your brain to achieve deep zen meditative states in a matter of weeks. Without Holosync, most people are likely to give up on meditation, or else take years of practice to achieve the same results (like me.)

I have collected several articles about how meditation benefits the body and brain. Benefits listed on the linked page above include lowering blood pressure, warding off stroke and heart attack, preventing recurrence of depression, shifting brain activity to the left frontal lobe thereby becoming calmer and happier.

It sure looks like people are sitting there doing nothing when you observe them meditate, but the activity is inside, and look at all the benefits! Try it for five minutes at first. See if you can work up to sitting still for twenty minutes! It's a challenge if you're not used to it. But the brain entrainment CD tracks surely make meditation much easier.

My ebook "Sad for no Reason" is about the mood food connection as it relates to depression. It is a resource guide meant to help you start your journey to wellness by investigating the nourishment you give your body and your resulting moods. There is a 24-item shocker list of deficiencies that could contribute to depression if deficient. If you buy now you'll get access to three bonus items: a poster you can print for your kitchen, a copy of "As a Man Thinketh" ( I personally designed the layout), and the Philosopher's Note to "Loving What Is." Both of these links will go to the correct page, so you can pass along the one that's easiest to remember:

Holosync is an excellent way to guide your personal growth and increase your ability to be creative, to learn, and to cope with life's problems. I have used this CD program since about 2004 and I completely recommend it to everyone. If you have never tried Holosync, go see the web site for yourself.
